As a Consultant Physical Security Operations, you will be part of the Physical Security team, that’s doubling down on customer obsession. 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Support the operational effectiveness of NAB’s Physical Security Operations Centre (SOC) by integrating frontline security operations, data management, and strategic advisory functions.
• Oversee the application of physical security operations including static and roving patrols, law enforcement response, and access control, while also managing SOC-generated data, reporting, and procedural frameworks.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal and external reporting, support compliance and risk mitigation, and contribute to the development of SOC procedures, training materials, and operational documentation.
• Support the operational oversight, as required, to support SOC operations outside regular hours and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance NAB’s physical security posture.
• Conduct periodic reviews of SOC performance metrics and recommend operational adjustments to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of strategic reporting packs for senior leadership, translating operational data into executive-level insights.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices relevant to physical security operations. 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 

• Proven experience working in a similar Security Operations, Training, or Data/Reporting role.
• Demonstrated experience working in or supporting a 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience in supporting operational teams through data insights and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent platforms; and ability to extract, interpret, and present data clearly and concisely
• Experience in developing and maintaining procedural documentation and proven understanding of physical security operations and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to design, deliver and manage training programs, including oversight of post-training performance and application in operational security contexts.
• Capable of identifying and implementing procedural and training enhancements based on operational insights.
• Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information directly to a range of audiences
