In the role of Associate, you will join the Market Operations team within Corporate & Institutional Banking that’s doubling down on customer obsession and moving with speed.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Process allocated work accurately and efficiently, meeting agreed service levels, performance standards and deadlines, while using core systems and tools to deliver high‑quality support to colleagues and customers.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure instructions, enquiries and queries are handled promptly and effectively, maintaining strong working relationships.
- Identify and escalate operational issues, risks or process breakdowns that may impact business operations, financial outcomes, or customer service quality.
- Support the Manager with day‑to‑day team activities, helping ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with agreed processes.
*** This role operates on night shifts with shift loading, working from home on rotating hours (8:00pm–4:00am and 12:00am–8:00am), and is based in Melbourne.

- Experience working across Financial Markets operations, including support of Fixed Income and NAB Securities operational processes and controls.
- Contribute to improving process efficiency and maintaining effective controls.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and business partners to ensure requests and enquiries are handled effectively.
- Assist with more complex administrative tasks or systems within the team, supporting compliant and well‑controlled outcomes.
