Lead NAB’s external Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) document design and production, helping shape the Group’s performance narrative

Drive group‑level performance insights for the CFO, ELT and Board

In the role of Associate Director, you will join our Finance team that’s doubling down on owning it!
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

Own and manage NAB’s externally reported MD&A, ensuring compliance with ASX, ASIC and Corporations Law

Deliver high‑quality group‑level commercial analysis and internal performance insights

Partner closely with Investor Relations, supporting shareholder, analyst and investor engagement

Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls, data and insight capability
-
Be part of an engaged, high performing team
Note: Approximately six months of the year is focused on formal external reporting delivery, with the remainder dedicated to broader commercial and internal group performance analysis.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

Proven experience in an equivalent role within an ASX‑listed organisation, or from a Big 4 / top‑tier professional services with ASX listed client base

Strong ASX / market reporting experience from an accounting and disclosure perspective

Deep commercial acumen with the ability to assess what drives performance and what doesn’t at a group level

Excellent project management and senior stakeholder engagement capability in complex environments
-
Strong technical accounting foundation combined with the ability to translate results into clear, market‑ready narratives
