In the role of Associate Director, Deal Structuring & Execution (DSE) – Emerging Corporate (EC), you will join a high performing team that’s doubling down on winning together in the key growth segment of Emerging Corporate.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Lead a highly motivated and enthusiastic team of Associates and Seniors Associate in a growth segment.
• Support and coach Associates and Senior Associates in both deal structuring and end-to-end file management.
• Partner with Bankers using your expertise in engagement and collaboration.
• Awareness of NAB’s credit policies and internal risk appetite and utilise product and sector experience to contribute to problem solving.
• Lead transactions, prepare & support credit submissions for recommendation to credit.
• Support credit decision jointly with Bankers to Credit.
• Ongoing portfolio management & monitoring of the risk profile and compliance, ensuring portfolio hygiene is of a high standard.
• Bring agility and exceptional leadership and workload prioritisation skills
• Contribution towards risk and capital management plan; proactive positioning of the portfolio to meet finance plans and regulatory changes.
• Support Relationship Bankers with origination and prospecting activities.
• Deepening industry speciality knowledge - identify development areas to support high performance of the team, coordinate training sessions including arranging deal reviews, facilitate working groups, maintain updated industry papers & benchmarking for relevant portfolio sectors. 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

• Excellence in credit writing and analysis, capable of executing complex Business Lending Cashflow transactions.
• Ability to lead & develop these capabilities simultaneously within your team.
• Demonstrated experience across debt structuring & execution, portfolio management, client engagement, preferably within financial services and/or medium to large complex organisations.
• Business partnering experience with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A willingness to tackle complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our colleagues, customers, and the bank.
• A positive attitude and strong motivation for continuous learning and development
• Experience and/or exposure to M&A financing solutions (preferable)
• Relevant tertiary qualification (post graduate qualification would be highly regarded)
