In the role of Associate Director, you will join the Climate and Sustainability Reporting team that’s doubling down on winning together to provide specialist expertise to ensure climate and sustainability reporting is accurate, decision-useful, audit-ready and integrated across finance, risk and sustainability processes.
In this Associate Director role, you will:
- Drive the delivery of the Group’s Climate Report and related disclosures, ensuring compliance with ASRS, the Corporations Act 2001, and other applicable regulations.
- Lead the Group’s ASRS materiality assessment process and oversee Board and sub-committee updates on Climate Reporting.
- Manage end-to-end reporting processes: data collection, validation, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Provide advice to senior leaders on climate and sustainability reporting obligations and strategic impacts.
- Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Group.
- Lead reporting change initiatives and build internal capability
- Oversee the development and implementation of Group sustainability reporting policies, measurement frameworks, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.
What you will bring:
- Proven years of experience in sustainability reporting, risk or finance roles.
- Audit experience (at an audit firm or as part of an industry role) and/or expertise in managing external assurance.
- Ability to establish reporting policies, frameworks, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments, apply a practical approach to resolving issues and be adaptable to change.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams.
- Tertiary qualified (Accounting, Finance, Sustainability or a related field) along with CA/CPA qualified.
