We are looking for an Analyst Android Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of National Australia Bank’s mobile app suite, including the flagship NAB Mobile Internet Banking and NAB Connect Mobile apps.

As an Analyst Android Engineer, you will be joining CIO Business, Private & Digital that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Working with business analysts and user experience designers to ensure requirements are clear as well as offering technical input into the requirements process
• Designing and coding of Android applications
• Active participation in all aspects of the software delivery life cycle and associated agile activities that the team undertake
• Working with the test team to ensure applications are robust
• Perform code reviews and provide timely and constructive feedback
• Continuous innovation in development practices, team processes and mobile design
• Presenting to internal colleagues and assist with external events such as hack days, meet-ups and showcase the team’s achievements
• Being part of a production support roster to support our apps

 We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

• Good understanding of app design patterns and practices
• Solid technical background as a Mobile app developer with experience in Android programming (Java and Kotlin)
• Experience with RESTful JSON APIs, GraphQL and microservices;
• Experience with build management tools including CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins);
• Experience with continuous test automation tooling (UI Tests, Perfecto, Applitools);
• Development experience using common IDE and source systems (Android Studio, Git);
• Writing unit and functional automation tests (JUnit);
• Experience with repository artifact management (Artifactory);
• Knowledge of code quality analysis tools (SonarQube).
