As a Manager within our Internal Audit team, you will ensure Internal Audit’s methodology and associated processes align to relevant regulatory requirements and professional standards.

In this Manager role, you will
- Monitor relevant Internal Audit (IA) regulatory requirements and professional standards to ensure NAB’s IA Methodology remains aligned and manage any required change. The scope of this includes Audit Universe, Overall Planning, Delivery and Monitor phases.
- Coordinate the processes that link the Audit Universe to Overall Planning and through to each delivery portfolio’s delivery program and provide a view on whether the delivery portfolios achieve the required assurance coverage.
- Develop and deliver an IA Quality Assurance (QA) program and direct other resources, including external subject matter experts, to execute components of the QA Program.
- Design technical uplift programs based on QA Program outcomes, including enhancing IA’s methodology and associated collateral, and working with the Manager, Capability Growth to build and deliver technical learning and development services.
- Generating higher level reporting on Internal Audit’s Quality Assurance Program’s outcomes for consumption by key stakeholders.
What you will bring
- Solid understanding of various risk types spanning multiple areas of the bank.
- Advanced leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) programs.
- Substantial experience with stakeholder engagement and management.
- Years of experience in industry risk-based functions or assurance professional service firms.
- Tertiary qualified, preferably with a Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
