NAB’s Future Skills and Workforce team plays a critical role in building a global, highly skilled workforce positioned for the future. We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to ensure we have the right people with the right skills in the right roles at the right time to deliver on NAB’s strategic ambitions now and into the future.
As a Senior consultant, you will support the design and implementation of our Skills Strategy and Framework to enable a future fit global skills-based workforce.

In this Senior Consultant role, you will:
- Support the design, implementation, and governance of our skills-based talent management strategy.
- Identify and prepare for the future skills and capabilities needed to achieve our strategic ambition.
- Partner with Enterprise Learning to co-design workforce development programs, focusing on skills acquisition, upskilling, and reskilling.
- Collaborating with Talent Planning, Acquisition and Development colleagues to support the design of strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent, ensuring alignment with future skills requirements.
- Identify emerging trends and best practices in skills-based approaches to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Partnering with SWP on the design and implementation of workforce planning processes, through conducting research and analysing industry trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to align workforce strategies with future business goals.
What you will bring:
- Ability to develop a strategy that leverages current strengths and builds new points to differentiate in the market and ensure NAB’s long term success.
- Proven expertise in talent, HR or strategy.
- Strong customer focus and business acumen.
- Demonstrated negotiation, influence & relationship management skills.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
